Botany Notebooking Journals are HERE!

I'm so excited to announce the arrival of the Exploring Creation with Botany Notebooking Journals. You can see samples of them on the Apologia website here: BOTANY NJ

These will make Exploring Creation with Botany even easier to complete with templates for every notebook activity, diagrams to label, Scripture copywork, vocabulary crossword puzzles, Scientific Speculation Sheets, reading lists and Dig in Deeper extended activities for every lesson, as well as...drum roll...beautiful full color lapbooks that are simply gorgeous!

I want to give away a four of these. But I can't think of a contest (My brain is so focused on getting the Anatomy book finished). I also want to give away four Astronomy Notebooking Journals. Can anyone think of a great contest I could hold on my blog?

I CAN!!!

Create two seperate posts. One for the Botany Give Away and one for the Astronomy Give Away!

For the Botany Give Away ask readers to enter the contest by leaving a comment about their favorite plant or flower.

For the Astronomy Give Away ask readers to enter the contest by leaving a comment about a fascinating fact they know about astronomy.

Then, go to random.org and let them pick your winners! OR do it the ol' fashion way and write down all the names of contestants and let your children draw the winners out of a hat!!!

It's nice to see you on your blog!! I've been missin' ya!

Love and Joy in Jesus,
Marietta

Maybe the first four people to comment on your blog win? :)

I loved Bookworm's idea!!
By the way, my daughter loves your books! We have finished the Flying, Swimming and Land Animals books, as well as the Astronomy book. My daughter is wanting to do the Botany book in the fall. We will also be doing the Anatomy book with our co-op. Can't wait!!

Jeannie,
I am so excited about the Botany notebooks. I am leaving to a different country and am ordering all the curriculum. Botany is the one I just placed in my cart as I got your em about the notebook! I am so glad it came in so timely! YEAH! As far as the contest, be prepared to be swamped in them. Giveaways are easy and bring so many new people to your blog if you mention the option of joining your blog as a follower, blogging, twittering, FB or whatever other means you'd like your blog and your giveaway to be known. But beware, I will do all the above!LOL! I just held my first giveaway this May and I was happy meeting so many new homeschool bloggers. I used random.org to pick a winner. It's super easy! Thanks for all your work! We are so looking forward to begin this summer with Botany and my 8th gr Physical Science. I am getting his on Cd rom, so I am saving on luggage weight too!!! One suitcase per hs kid is not much, right?!

Thank you for providing such wonderful resources for us to teach our kids about God's awesome creation. I have taught my two girls from the Astronomy, Botany and Aquatic creatures books, and we all have learned so much. They beg to do their Science lessons! Most importantly, I can confidently and intelligently teach them Science based on God's word not evolution and humanism. I have a 4 yr old son who is already picking up on Science. He can say, "Sessiles are sponges that sit in the sea!"

I also like Bookworm's idea, or maybe ask:

"What is something you and your kids would like to learn about in Botany (Astronomy) this year?"

Thanks again for using your talents God gave you. I am looking forward to the Anatomy book and notebooks for the rest of the textbooks. Many of us have been blessed by your work and God has definitely is glorified!

My 2 son's (4th and 1st grade) just finished the Astronomy book and we had a BLAST!!!! I can't wait to start Zoology 1 this fall. I also like bookworm's idea. To add to Bookworms ideas you can give people 3 entries. The 1st being to comment on their favorite plant or flower, the 2nd being to either become a follower of your blog (get's email updates)and if you already are to leave a comment saying so and the 3rd is to post about the giveaway on their personal blog or twitter and leave a comment saying they did so with the blog address.
