My main goal for my children's education is for them to know, love and serve the Lord and to be able to give a reason for their hope - it that is all we do then I've succeeded. I want them to be able to have enough book smarts that they can function in the world and if they chose to move on to college that they are prepared.

My ultimate goal for my children's education is to have covered everything with them in-depth enough to make the transition to college an easy one. They each know their career goals, and I want to thoroughly prepare them for their college studies while allowing them the freedom to explore those subjects now at home.

Teach them as much as I can about life, good character, love, and God! Also, very important, to NEVER stop learning. Just because your formal education stops at 12th grade, doesn't mean you have to stop educating yourself. Always keep the mind learning!

I feel like college is a major stepping stone for my son to become a godly man, and learn to be responsible so that he can someday be a good provider for his family. It transitions him to do the hard things whether it's studying when he wants to be with friends, and mom and Dad are not there to shepherd him. Also, my son has some major LD's So it will be great for him to accomplish a college education and see he can overcome despite his LD issues.

My goal has always been to create a love of learning. This has looked different in our homeschool journey throughout the years. At this point now that we are in high school, I would say they have learned how to learn and cultivate their interests independently. I truly feel that this will enable them to transition into college quite well.

Main goal...to keep God first in everything we do. Cover the subjects that God wired them for as well as make time to go out and do what God calls us to do...on a daily basis that I hope will stay with them for a lifetime.

My first is to love and serve Jesus all the days of their life. My second is for them to develop a love and desire for learning no matter what their age.

So many beautiful answers from all of you. God truly blessed your children with you as his and her parent. We've decided to bless the seventh poster with the free ebook. I will be posting a new eBook offer from Janice next week and several other great products from other companies.

So, keep a look out!

The seventh poster was Tammy Jones! Congratulations, Tammy!

My ultimate goal is to equip my kids with a solid Biblical foundation and a godly perspective. I want to give them a strong foundation in Math, Reading and Writing and a Biblical framework in which to understand Science, History and anything else they encounter in their future studies. I also want to encourage their natural giftedness and help them to discern their unique calling from the Lord. More than anything I pray that they would Love God with their whole hearts and Love others.
